Amber with Alia Atkinson Jamaican Olympian

What a great conclusion to another record setting year. Four individual swimmers (Abigail Bush, Kasey Jordan, Matthew Petreski, Tommy Lorenz) and three relay swimmers ( Amelia Bush, Callie Jordan and Amber Blake) represented Hammerhead Aquatics at the 2017 FGC Senior Championships.

A record number of qualified swimmers, in a record number of events. Ourswims at this meet were highlighted by our three finalists, Abigail in 100 and 200 breaststroke, Kasey  in the 100 freestyle and Matthew in his 4 events. We entered 5 relay events, all swimmers had best time splits, all relays set club records and our 800 free relay placed 7th. For the first time, we scored 33 team points and placed 33rd in the team rankings.

Everyone should be very proud. Just think, 3 years ago at our first team swim meet almost everyone got disqualified in most

events, we now are swimming in our Championship events and placing in the top twenty in most of our indivdual events.
