Hammerhead USA is a 501-3 (c) non-profit organization and is licensed and insured. Hammerhead USA is a not for profit USA Swim Team based at the Sunrise Middle School in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We rely on tea m dues to rent the facility, buy equipment, purchase insurance and pay our staff. Every swimmer needs to be registered with USA Swimming through our local governing body Florida Gold Coast Swimming and needs to be completed within 30 days after the athlete joins Hammerhead USA. We provide all athletes with instruction, exercise, and competitive racing skills. At Hammerhead USA we promote swimming as a life-long sport that provides every athlete with an opportunity to develop mentally and socially, excel in school, and compete in a sport that teaches lessons beyond the pool.
